It's Christmas! How amazing is that? It's the one day when everyone needs to acknowledge Jesus - because He got you the day off work. Admit that, and you're a step closer to getting what it's all about.

Last night I went to the midnight service out at Brownsville church. It's a very old church. Pews & stained glass windows and all. A bunch of us sat on the back pew and it was amusing. Phil, one of the guys, & I were either side of Rae and her boyfriend and they were serious... We were hyperactive. There was glowstick stealing, and then pew jumping when we got sick of waiting for everyone to leave ahead of us. Many unimpressed looks, but I'm sure they all wish they were as cool as us.

In my favourite quote of the day - and yes, it is only 9:45am, Lauren ran up to Pegs, who has uber curly hair but straightens it a lot, and exclaimed excitedly 'Your hair is straight!' and then walked away after realising she messed it up - his hair was curly. We all knew no quote of Christmas could beat it.

Mum's just finished in the shower. So it's my turn now.

This morning I woke up at 8, then again at 8:30. I read my bible as soon as I was awake enough to bother, and it was great to do that. I was so happy. It's as if after months of not eating breakfast, I did. Got the energy. But on another good note, french toast for breakfast. So good. I love french toast very muchly.

Today I'm helping out with the kids at church for the morning service, then possibly hanging out with Jess for a bit, and finally, helping with Christmas Carnivale. That's, you guessed it, going on at the church tonight. Games, food, face painting, hair spraying... All that is awesome. Callum & I are running the basketball shooting challenge. Easy enough to comprehend what it is. We ran soccer shooting last night. We must be sporty or something.... He is, but I'm definitely not.

Either way, it'll be fun.

Looking at Rohan's photos from carolling right now. That's right - carolling is still alive! The young adults group of the church went out to houses that asked us to, and we sang carols for them. To very good reactions, too. People would come out of their houses, or stop their cars. It was something I never thought I'd do - but when I did, it rocked.

So, I should go shower & get dressed very soon. I'm still not sure if I want to go down to the church this morning, though.

So, my UAI sucked. A lot. 58. Yeah, not great.

But guess what? I'm alright with it (says the girl that cried for half an hour over this number) because it doesn't matter.
It honestly doesn't.
God doesn't work only through people with good UAI's.

So, I'm fine. I'm great. Travel & then bible college.
Heck yeah.

Uh ooooh... Today is the day, since it is 1:07am. HSC result day. 6am they get texted to me. I'm scared. It's all in God's hands, but I know my marks won't reach expectations of what they could have been. Aaaah, save me?

On a brighter note, I spent my night at a beach hanging out with Dom & Yvette. We ate fruit covered in whipped cream and lit things on fire. The makings of a great night, I say. On a more serious note, I was filming in the car on the way home while Yvette asked Dom random questions. One of them was 'what are some of your happiest moments?' and the answers were cool. I have awesome friends. I really, really, really do.

I'm getting less work because I cost more to have - everyone else gets $9 an hour, I get $13.60. It makes sense, but that doesn't mean it doesn't frustrate me quite a lot. It's okay. God will provide for me somehow. Mum gave me a lift home from work, and when I got home there was a note thingy from the Australian Air Express saying I had to pick up a package. I think it's from Jeremy & Kaci. I hope it is.

I cut my thumb at work. It hurt quite a lot. The knife was really sharp. Boss woman freaked out a bit, but it was alright once I cleaned it up & put a band aid on.

Called the phone company... Got to take in into a store to get repaired. That will be done tomorrow, too.

Also going to get a blood test to figure out what vaccinations I have and haven't had, and what diseases I've had. I've been pretty healthy all my life. The last time I got sick enough to go to the doctor's was in year 10 during yearly exams, and I had a really high fever and was nauseated and tired constantly. Missed most of my exams and had to catch up. It sucked.

I think I'm gonna play guitar for a while... Keep practising & such. Two chords so far. Now, I work on changing them.

Last night my body decided to rest - it felt like it needed it. So, I didn't go to church. However, I did get the chance to read my bible properly for the first time in a while.

The lesson from this? When your body needs rest, give it rest.

Today is going to be busy. Before work I have to drop some stuff down at the church - my bass, and a change of clothes for youth group. I then have to go to work for 5-6 hours, and get dinner in my rush to get to the church on time for Fuse practise. Then there comes the actual Fuse and youth group. Possibly going to Brad's place after youth, too. So busy, busy, busy. For now, though, it's my morning underwear wandering.

Babysitting went well last night. One of the girls told me a lot of stories, and another played with my hair for an hour or so, telling me it was long & thick like a princesses. Awww, right?

I have Christmas cards to write.

Some days just don't work out, do they? Yesterday just sucked for a whole bunch of reasons and I just wanted to crawl up and sleep away the day. The good side was that I got paid, though. That means that as soon as I can, I'm getting 'love' tattooed on my left wrist. It will hurt, but as Brad said, I'm no stranger to pain on that arm. If I don't get it then I'll regret it for a long time.

Tonight I'm baby sitting for some guests at the golf club where Mum works. $15 an hour for 5 hours. It'll be a long day, but it's getting me closer to going to America. That's something I want. It's something to work towards.

I'm now avoiding getting dressed by sitting around in a towel playing guitar.

How cool am I?
